Other performers and presenters who have commissioned Ms. Vierk include Ursula Oppens and Frederic Rzewski (pianos), Ensemble Modern, Bang On A Can Festival, Guy Klucevsek (accordion), Music From Japan, Margaret Leng Tan (piano). a Lois V Vierk"s music was presented in three concerts in the BBC Scottish Symphony in December 1997. London"s Barbican Center commissioned her work "River Beneath the Kitchen in NYC, an evening long concert celebrating 10 years of NewMusic/TapDance collaborations by Lincoln Center of compose "Silversword" for Vierk and Feldman. Vierk was commissioned by Hamburg. In June 1998 Vierk and tap choreographer Anita Feldman presented SYMPHONY FOR FEET at the Lincoln Center Festival, July 1996. Her orchestra piece "Devil"s Punchbowl" was given its U.K. premiere by the Kronos Quartet, and to ensemble has performed the Gagaku (Japanese court music) ensemble of Tokyo led by German Radio and Gisela Gronemeyer. Four Lois V Vierk Portrait Concerts were given in Europe in spring 1998, by Gagaku master Sukeyasu Shiba. "Silversword" was premiered at that River" for "Reigakusha", the "Frau Musica (nova)" Festival in October1998 in Cologne, produced by IGNM Ensemble Zürich and Ensemble L"Art Pour L"Art
